电影讲述一名失踪一个星期的13岁男孩，他受到父亲死亡触发，渴望在大自然的环境下与死亡和睦共处，但他的母亲与师长完全无法理解他的行为。电影于2017年秋季开机，而于2018年4月开始第二波拍摄，于6月杀青。
